The purpose of Meridian Financial is to navigate business owners and executives from success to significance. We accomplish this by not only identifying and providing effective solutions during some of the most uncertain and stressful times of their lives – pre-retirement and early retirement, but by continuing our services in order to meet clients’ ever-changing financial needs. When working with clients, we use a highly disciplined and structured approach that consists of the following five steps:
- Bearings
- Identify the client’s most important values.
- Determine financial goals and objectives.
- Define their commitment to achieving these goals.
- Charting
- Assess the current financial position.
- Evaluate their current course of action in relation to their objectives.
- Provisioning
- Detail a series of recommendations that can help make their goals a reality.
- Clarify next steps.
- Embarking
- Implementation of suitable financial products based upon the plan.
- Coordinate with the clients other advisors (attorney, accountant, etc.).
- Logging
- Monitor progress toward goals and objectives
